Artists & Fleas

I made my first real trip to Brooklyn this weekend with Jessie.  We started our adventure on the L train to Bedford St. en route to Williamsburg’s Artists and Fleas. First we checked out the jewelry. I found a few pairs of earrings I was drawn to but nothing new or inspiring. I also tried on a gold skull ring that was very reminiscent of Alexander Mcqueen’s jewelry collection from this season (Mcqueen’s skull head knucklebusters are amazing).

Finally, we came across Ricky. He had the most insane vintage clothing!!! I’ve tried to calm down on the shopping recently, but with him I had NO restraint. I bought a 1970’s YSL Blazer, a ysl swing top, a late 80’s striped Missoni sweater, a super sexy dress from the 1960’s (very Mad Men), a black silk cami from the 70’s and a long white sweater dress for the fall.

After scouring through Artists and Fleas, Jessie and I walked around Williamsburg but we had to cut our day short because of the insane heatwave that will not leave NY.

DTG Episode 1 Outfit

I have been getting emails regarding my outfit on Episode 1 of Downtown Girls, in the scene of the infamous bowling alley. Even though my EX kissed and flirted with everyone, making me look like an *sshole… at least my clothes looked good.

On top I am wearing a backless t-shrit from Topshop. It had sheer panels and is super comfortable! I wore it with Jbrand 10” skinny jeans in ink and YSL tribute sandals.
I also am wearing (although you can’t see it in the top picture) Made Her Think Double Band Chain Ring in Oxidized silver with pave diamonds.

Email me for special orders on any of these items!
